Western Australia Government, Department of Communities – Emergency Accommodation

Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia 

Scope 
Rapid accommodation deployment in remote Western Australia in response to a natural disaster. Solution provided capacity for 896 beds, with four (4) containerised kitchen and laundry facilities. Supporting infrastructure included 70,000L potable water storage and 140,000L sewage storage. Project included outdoor recreational and dining spaces, along with utilities and support services for continuous operation. 

Delivery Timelines 
Contract engagement commenced March 2023. Initial asset delivery completed by end of March, followed by immediate construction. Operations maintained through to June 2024, with project closure completed by 30 September 2024.  

Project, Contract and Supplier Management 
An on-ground project coordination team was provided for the full duration of the project. Responsibilities included facility management, stakeholder liaison, and oversight of all deliverables within a consolidated project framework. 

Logistics Capability 
Turnkey solution delivered across all logistics and service areas, including road freight, service contracting, and infrastructure preparation. Manufacture, procurement, and delivery of all project assets managed directly, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, and signage.
