Sindalah Island Project – Worker Accommodation

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Scope
Disestablishment and redeployment of an existing facility from the NEOM Bay Airport site to the Sindalah Island Project site. Scope included complete disestablishment, reconfiguration, and establishment of the Humanihut Field Infrastructure System in a new layout to suit operational requirements at the new location. The redeployed facility supported thirty (30) beds and six (6) containerised bathrooms with showers and toilets. Ongoing facilities management, including maintenance and servicing, formed part of the delivery scope.

Delivery Timeline
Disestablishment and redeployment completed over a 22-day period in September 2024. Facilities management responsibilities extended over a three-month operational period following redeployment.

Project, Contract and Supplier Management
Turnkey delivery managed by an embedded project team based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities included contract administration, site operations, and ongoing maintenance under a consolidated management structure.

Logistics Capability
Logistics coordination was managed by the Humanihut Project Manager in collaboration with client-appointed freight contractors. The containerised system design enabled efficient transport and rapid deployment. Asset configuration was adapted to meet the specific spatial and functional requirements of the Sindalah Island Project site, supporting flexible site planning and streamlined delivery.
